The Chocolate Bar

The first birthday Jogyata had after Subarata passed away was sad for all of us because she loved birthdays and always tried to make it special for Jogyata.

My son Omri wanted to give Jogyata a present but in his usual boyish style was leaving it up to me to decide what to give.
I remembered one anniversary of the Auckland Centre giving Subarata a big bunch of fragrant freesias. She told me a few days later that the flowers had mysteriously disappeared from where she had put them in the meditation area and reappeared in Jogyata's room! So I bought freesias and while in the shop I got inspired to buy a big bar of chocolate as well.
As I stood there trying to make up my mind which flavour to get I heard very clearly "Caramello!" I immediately doubted this message and started going through the flavours again - maybe white chocolate or Black Forest - then again I heard "Caramello!"
I knew it was Subarata so I obediently bought that kind.

Later of course, I heard that Caramello was Jogyata's favourite chocolate flavour.
