Thanks for the tip! I imported my subscriptions from Bloglines into NetNewsWire and now have a cute and serviceable icon in my dock that lists unread messages. This was very helpful to know since the Bloglines notifier download for Firefox wasn't working.

thanks Priyadarshan! Your post on adblock is how I got started pursuing much of this. I'm finding that my Blog notifier for Bloglines isn't working right with my Mac whereas it is fine on the PC I have at work. What do you use for RSS? A Firefox extension?
