Fine dining
2007-09-29 05:23 PM | Posted by Sahayak Plowman | Permanent Link | MiscellaneousIt was all hands on deck, or should I say 'all hands in the kitchen' for members of the Sri Chinmoy Centre Brisbane when they catered to the apetites of 44 members of the Brisbane Vegetarian Society..
Members have monthly get togethers at the hand-full of vegetarian restaurants/cafe's in Brisbane. Hosting this special function for the fourth time, My Heart-Garden cafe owned and operated by Durba provided the most delicious of Japanese meals for the very appreciative diners.
The small kitchen was abuzz of activity with nine members of the Brisbane Sri Chinmoy Centre all chipping in to prepare, cook, serve and clean after the three course meal.
From all counts it was a roaring success, both gastronomically and decoratively with much effort put into the creation of the outside Japanese dining area.
Well done to all, selfless service at its best...
Opened now for nearly two years My Heart-Garden has quickly gained a strong following for its selections of the finest vegetarian dishes, catering to the increasing number of gluten free and alergy sensitive diners. Apart from the Vegetarian Society booking over 25 separate guests arrived in anticipation of dining, but sadly we were unable to serve them, so to save any future disappointments we would ask all of our diners to please book ...
