I must begin my life
Once again
By dreaming the impossible.

Annwyl Gymru - Dear Wales

The long sung legend of Galatians
Free of affectations and the blight of greed
A daily magic of mountain streams
And dragon dreams that bubble in springs

The rich are quiet in their riches
As you at peace in gallant heritage
Heart enough for fosterage
Of one more warrior waif:

Taking opulent, opportune days
And star-bedecked, lazy-backed nights
Surfeit, unthankful, unthinking
As a king taking trinkets

Wallowing, wandering, head unattired
To your hallowed rain of affection
Ears all attention to your north wind song
The bellows of an earthly fire
