Welcome to my world at this point in time- managing a Sri Chinmoy enterprise, running a marathon a month and generally endeavouring to follow a path navigated with the aid of more heart than mind.
This is me in my most typical habitat, The Rainbow-Silence-Heart vegetarian eatery, Melbourne Australia.
Mine
is a story of what in Australia has been coined 'a sea-change'. For me
it has been a slow transition, moving from corporate life to enterprise
life- from suit to sari, and I love it.
Working in an
enterprise is definitely not without its challenges but when all
involved are dealing with issues that arise in and around them through
the same philosophical prism, it is very different. The only reason we
are here is to serve the public and our own spiritual lives.
The
next most frequented habitat is my house, something of a sanctuary
after the fully-peopled time at The Rainbow-Silence-Heart. It is made
especially so by the presence of Sri Chinmoy's Jharna-Kala and works by some of
his artistically inspired students.
The most recent is the Tree of Life (see below), painted as a mural on a 3 x 5mtr wall by Pranavanta.
