Ottawa Centre ultra-runner Karnayati Morison

and placed 4th girl, at the recent 6-day Self-Transcendence 6-day Race in New York, May 1 - 7.  Karnayati's after-race reflections encapsulate her experience: "I feel that my being truly fulfils my soul's name in multi-day race events - Karnayati: she who hearkens to the Absolute and offers her entire being to the Lord, will have only joy, light and divine love... I feel I am offering my entire being and although the race, like life, has its ups and downs, the overwhelming feeling is of joy, light and love. Participating in the event is like entering into a special world - Sri Chinmoy's world, God's world, a divine world. It feels like a continual meditation. It is like being in another dimension where all is harmony and oneness. Oneness with each other, with nature and with the universe. I feel that this is the way this world of ours will be one day and that somehow the running and the event are helping the world move towards this divine goal."
