Christchurch Parades
Since 2004 the Sri Chinmoy Centre has participated in the Christchurch Christmas Parade. The 2007 Christmas Parade marks the Parade's 60th Anniversary
Over a quarter of the region lines the streets of Christchurch to view the Christmas Parade presented by the Christchurch Childrens' Christmas Parade Trust with over 80 spectacular floats, 50 walking parties, 3,500 participants, and upwards of 120,000 spectators.
The parade is the largest and most successful annual event held in the South Island.
