The Blue Bird Vegetarian Café is located in the heartland of the culturally diverse inner-city suburb of Mt Eden in Auckland, New Zealand and specialises in home-baked vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Originally called the Kettledrum, it was opened in 1995 and renamed by Sri Chinmoy in 1997 when moved to it's present location. The newest of our enterprises, The Sweetness-Joy of the Unknown Beyond is a juice bar and café situated in the award winning shopping precinct of Newmarket in Auckland, New Zealand - an area renowned for it's fashionable stores, boutiques, cafés and restaurants. Set a little above street level, the juice bar offers a tasteful sampling of Sri Chinmoy's artwork and has an ambience of spaciousness and tranquility.
