Jumping With Joy
Jumping With Joy
I am famous for creating a crying scene when I have to leave Guru to back to my
home country. Some years ago it happened that my flight was leaving JFK Airport
at noon, which is very unusual for European flights. I had to leave the Tennis
Court very early, and my sobbing was worse than usual.
After I left, Guru asked some of the disciples why I had been crying so pitifully. They explained to Guru that I was sad because I was flying home and that my flight was leaving at noon. Guru shook his head and said, "But her plane is not leaving before midnight! She will see me again in the evening." The disciples answered Guru that my flight was at noon, but he of course knew better.
I arrived at the airport only to find out that my flight was delayed 12 hours. The man at the check-in counter was utterly confused. All the other passengers were upset about the delay, but I was jumping with joy. I took the next cab back to the Tennis Court.
