Cardiff Races
The Sri Chinmoy AC is a running club which is open to all members of Sri Chinmoy Centres worldwide. In keeping with Sri Chinmoy's philosophy of self-transcendence , we like to run and we like to organise races - from 2 miles to 3100 miles (the longest certified road race in the world). 3100 Miles Web Site

Here in Cardiff we hold Self-Transcendence Races every summer in Pontcanna Fields, organised by the staff at Run and Become. The size of the field ranges from 35-90 runners and the course is flat and scenic, going partly along the banks of the River Taff. All-comers are welcome - we have had entrants ranging from international-level athletes to novice first-time racers and a friendly atmosphere is an essential part of the mix.
To date, for the last three years we have held a 3-race series, of 2, 3 and 4 miles respectively. New for summer 2006 will be a 3 X 1 mile relay.
