Guru's Oneness

For a while I had an apartment on the ground floor. There was a backyard that was not protected by a fence. One night during the summer it was quite hot, and I placed a fan in the doorway between my bedroom and the kitchen—something I didn't normally do. During the night a robber broke into the house. He actually went into my bedroom and stole what little jewellery I had, as well as my purse. Fortunately, I did not hear him because of the fan and did not wake up. In the morning I realised that I had been robbed, and I rushed to the telephone to call Guru. I had totally forgotten that Guru's number was unlisted! The next moment the phone rang. It was Guru and I was able to tell him what happened. Guru knew I was trying to call him and he called me instead. This is our Guru's oneness with us.
