Extremely Grateful

In 1972 I discovered a tiny bleeding pore on the skin of my nose. A doctor diagnosed it as pre-cancerous. I wrote to Sri Chinmoy about it and the next time I saw the doctor, he could find no pre-cancerous condition. I was truly impressed and astonished by Guru's miraculous healing powers, and extremely, extremely grateful! A few years later my brother, who is eight years younger than I, developed cancer in the abdomen. I wrote to Guru about it, and my brother has been cancer-free ever since. In the early 1980s I came down with a very severe abdominal pain. I sent a message to Guru, and he sent a disciple nurse to take me for tests. He also sent a disciple doctor to examine me. The results of the tests were that I needed surgery. I refused to have the surgery with the faith that I was in Guru's hands. Consequently, my body went through some radical changes, which I felt to be purification, and I fully recovered from the abdominal attack. Guru's miraculous powers always fill me with gratitude!
